WORK

“No More”

From his debut album, “Riley”, composer, bandleader, and trumpet player Riley Mulherkar re-envisions a haunting field song adapted from Alan Lomax's 1948 recording at Parchman Farm. Featuring the stunning vocalist Vuyo Sotashe, this work was a delicate balance of sparse drama.

“Love Will Find a Way”

Our dear friend, Dave Linard interprets the classic Eubie Blake tune, "Love Will Find a Way." Quite simply, this was a dream to make. Dave's kind and charming spirit is captivating. We were so happy Dave trusted us to capture him playing AND singing!

He is also a great photographer!

"The Gotham Kings”

This video was created for the incredible band The Gotham Kings, led by trumpet virtuoso, Alphonso Horne. This band is fun, engaging, and wildly entertaining. We tried to convey that energy in this piece.

See them live and be changed!

“Love Movement”

Love Movement is a music video created for tap musician Michela Marino Lerman. This piece is Michela's nod to the structure of movements in music, pushing the boundaries of tap dance. It bridges the gap between tap and music and invites you to see tap as a form of music.

Love Movement was premiered by none other than Quincy Jones!

"Wali Sanga Remixes”

Featuring our very own, Alex Ariff on saxophone. We had fun capturing Alex playing live over the instrumental of "Honest Poison," from the Wali Sanga record "Big Ears." We lit an enormous fire and hit record.

Jake burned himself while filming and still has a scar. Worth it!

“Resolute”

This is a promo for the first single of the band, Mwenso & The Shakes. We wanted to capture the band’s natural funk, mystery, and beauty. “Resolute” is about self-love, perseverance, and power and through Mwenso’s dancing and the band’s liberating spirit, doing them justice was a great challenge!
